NOMADIC LAND OF LADAKH

Duration: 6 Nights / 7 Days

Destination: Leh-Chumathang-Tsomoriri-Leh-Uleytokpo-Leh

Day 1: Arrive Leh :- Upon arrival at Leh Airport you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. Evening Visit to Leh Market & Shanti Stupa. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Leh-Chumathang-Tsomoriri:- Post breakfast we check out from Hotel and Drive to Tsomoriri enroute stop at Chumathang, famous for medical hot spring and people visit to this place for medical bath. After a short halt drive to Tsomoriri, A beautiful mountain bounded expanse of water, around 240 Kms. from Leh in Rupsho Valley. The Lake is located at 14,000 ft. near a small village of Korzok. Upon arrival we check in at our camp for two nights.

 

Day 3:Tsomoriri(Local Excursion) In the morning visit Korzok village with its houses and its gompa appearing like a mirage. The few barley fields at Korzok must be among the highest cultivation in the world. In the afternoon visit around the Lake. Overnight at the camp.


Day 4: Tsomoriri-Leh(Via Tanglangla):-
Post breakfast we check out from the Camp and proceed towards Tsokar Lake, After visiting the Tsokar Lake we drive towards Leh enroute Stoping at Tanglangla pass, the second highest motorable pass in the world at 5350 m.

 

Day 5: Leh-Uleytokpo :- Post Breakfast we drive to visit Phyang Gompa, located 6 kms away from Leh. Further we drive to Likir, Likir gompa situated atop a windy cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir. Basgo is certainly the most impressive of Ladakhi citadels despite its ruined state. Then we drive and cross the River Indus and reach Alchi, Ladakh's most loved monastery. After visiting above monasteries we drive to Uleytokpo to checkin at our Campsite for overnight stay.

 

Day 6: Uleytokpo-Leh :- Post breakfast start early morning we drive further to visit Lamayuru, Belongs to Dripung Kagyu (Red Hat) like Phyang. After visiting Lamayuru we drive back to Leh enroute visiting Rizong Gompa, known as the paradise for Meditation. After Ridzong visit we drive back to Leh and check in at our hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 7: Depart Leh(Fly Out) :- Tour concludes. Mountain Trails thank you for your patronage and ensure a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward Destination.
